adidas Equipment
Everything that is Essential. Nothing that is Not.
adidas Equipment Returns for Spring/Summer 2025
Born in 1991 adidas Equipment, was the brainchild of Three Stripes executive Robert Strasser and designer Peter Moore. Informed by the mantra “Everything that is essential. And nothing that is not”, the new line championed adidas founder Adi Dassler’s core ethos of creating silhouettes that were simple, functional and performance-based.
In its initial articulation, the adidas Equipment range was designed with a no-bullshit approach, focusing on four tenets: protection, cushioning, stability and traction. Each of these tenets was represented by an all-new logo, which is now the brand’s main mark – known as the “Badge of Sport.”
Throughout the years, adidas Equipment has come to stand for a distinct approach to design – focussing on only the essentials to build the best for non professional athletes at every moment and expanding across a number of sporting disciplines.
Now, as the world becomes ever more complicated, adidas EQT returns to once again advance its focus on only that which is essential.
