Orbit Crystal Studs

The Orbit Crystal Studs - Gold from Astrid & Miyu are an 18k gold plated sterling silver stud - a large CZ-set C-shaped bar on a single post that wraps around the lobe, with the upper arm visible above the piercing and the lower arm curving below and behind the lobe base.

The post sits at roughly the midpoint of the arc, so the bar extends both above and below the piercing point rather than projecting in one direction. Round CZ stones in open four-prong claw settings run the full length of the bar, graduating slightly larger toward the centre of the arc and smaller toward the tips. The open claw settings add a spiked quality between stones that keeps the sparkle active even in profile, so the earring reads from the side as well as the front.
