Storing a damp tent, even for 24 hours, can cause mildew that damages waterproof coatings and leaves permanent stains not covered by warranty. Always ensure your tent is completely dry before storing — hang it outside or air it indoors for a few days, turning it inside out. Never use a dryer, as heat can melt the fabric.
