Crossover Illusion Hoops

The Crossover Illusion Hoops - Mixed Metal from Astrid & Miyu are an 18k gold and rhodium plated recycled sterling silver hoop - two chunky tubular arcs in contrasting warm gold and cool rhodium that twist around each other once to create the illusion of two interlocked hoops.

The crossover sits at the front of the lobe where the gold and rhodium arcs split apart, pass over and under each other, and rejoin - the contrast between the two tones is structural, not decorative, and reads clearly even at a distance. Both arcs are mirror-polished and run in parallel around the back before meeting at the hinged clicker closure. Worn alone, these have enough presence to hold without anything else on the ear.
