Cashmere is naturally antibacterial and therefore doesn't require as much washing as other fibres. When it is time to launder, hand wash in cold water, avoid twisting, stretching or wringing and never use a machine to dry cashmere. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, and stain removers.
