This Mother’s Day we took a spotlight to our Super Icons. Our Mums, Grandparents, Mother Figures and more. Our icons deserve the world and more, and we are so excited to spoil them (just like they do for us all year round).

Here’s a bit about our Super Icons, and what their gifting wish list looks like.

Rickie | Co-Founder of Superette.

What are you most proud of?
Watching my kids grow each day into the driven and inspiring personalities that they are. Also, growing my first baby ‘Superette’ into the business that it is today. I’m proud to have such an amazing team around us and still working in the business we love 20 years on.

What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me is a way of expressing yourself and how you are feeling in that moment. If you feel comfortable in what you are wearing it’s the best confidence booster.

Lucy | Marketing Manager of Superette.

What do you love doing together most?
Family is everything to me and we all love spending time together. My entire family all lives within the same suburb which makes it easy to pop in and catch up. I’ll often go for a walk with mum on the weekends and we always stop in for a coffee and almond croissant!

How would you describe your style?
I always steer towards timeless and elegant pieces. Casual yet polished.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?
Shaun : My current favourite piece is my Once We’re Human – Davis Pants which are a good staple piece that I can match with any top or jacket, super comfy and light for those busy days at work – can’t do wrong with them!
Gayleen: I love a mix. Love to throw in something unique or perhaps vintage. Love to play with different textures and colors Accessories and shoes are my thing. Really really appreciate beautiful tailoring.
My favorite item – that’s a hard one. Probably my Manning Cartell Power Pastel Blazer.

How are you similar and how are you different?
We are very similar in that we both love our homewares, white always with a splash of colour here and there. We also share a love for anything to do with fashion and are always sending each other pieces to get the others opinion on before we buy.

How would you describe your daughter?
Bella is a bold, warm hearted and very funny kid!! It takes a while to get to know her, she’s guarded until she trusts you (like me), but then you get to meet the flamboyant little sass pants that she is.

How would you describe your style?
Pretty classic and clean and timeless. I like my clothes to last and wear long term, I’m not a fad wearer.
