Therm-a-rest

Therm-a-Rest was founded in 1972 by Boeing engineers Jim Lea, John Burroughs, and Neil Anderson, who were motivated by their own experiences with uncomfortable nights in the outdoors. 

Inspired by a leaky foam gardening pad, they created the world's first self-inflating air mattress, revolutionising the outdoor industry.
